Description:Global Equipment Company, Inc. is looking for a Continuous Improvement Manager who can lead the development, implementation and maintenance of an effective and sustainable Lean Processes program. This also includes planning and directing all aspects of the company's continuous improvement plans, objectives and initiatives with a direct responsibility in defining and executing strategies that leverage Global to drive continuous improvement and profitable growth. The Continuous Improvement Manager will work with all functional leaders to achieve significant improvements with a focus on Quality of Service, Elimination of Waste, Reduction in Lead-Times and a Reduction in Cost.

The ideal candidate will come with Six Sigma certification as well as experience in the development and implementation of lean and continuous improvement initiatives within a distribution center.
Duties:Select Duties & Responsibilities:
�Training, coaching, mentoring and direct application of lean tools and concepts across all functions
�Partner with functional leaders to assess current processes and identify process improvement opportunities.
�Planning, leading and assisting in the execution of Kaizen events.
�Helping to deliver significant and quantifiable process improvement and financial benefits.
�Focusing on operations performance to eliminate waste, improve customer satisfaction, and increase market share.
�Being a key driver of change within the division, supporting distribution staff and functional leaders by communicating company changes to employees and helping them to learn, understand, adjust and grow with the Lean transformation.
�Managing Lean reporting activities for the organization.
�Being a visible champion for LMS principles and practices while establishing and cultivating an environment that encourages problem solving, critical thinking and innovation.
�Leading LMS activities including process mapping, value stream mapping, data analysis, problem solving, measurement and/or sustainability.
Qualifications:Desired Skills & Experience

�Demonstrated ability to drive results through analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
�Must have experience in developing and implementing Lean principles within a distribution environment.
�Must have experience leading Kaizen events.
�Ability to travel occasionally to other distribution centers, field locations and our corporate office.
�Bachelor's degree in related field of study highly preferred.
�Must have excellent communication and organizational skills.
�Must have strong verbal, written, project management and presentation skills.
�Proven training and employee development skills with a strong emphasis on team building.
�Strong influencing skills and the ability to gain buy-in from other employees
